President's Letter

Scholarships available for student members

July 2021

Hello, and welcome to McMillen High School PTSA’s website. I hope you will find a lot of useful information about our school and PTSA.

My name is Corey Maddux, and I am proud to be able to represent our PTSA as president for the 2021-22 school year. My wife, Laurie, is a kindergarten teacher at Boggess Elementary, and our daughter, Mallory, is sophomore at MHS this year.

I am very proud of all our accomplishments we achieve together, as parents and community members of McMillen. Together we create the best environment for our students, staff and parents that it can be. Together, we can be the reason someone feels welcomed, loved, heard, seen and supported. I ask you to join me as a member of the McMillen PTSA.

PTSA is not an exclusive club defined by one person. We are a vibrant group of people from all walks of life, representing the diversity within our community. If you care about your community’s schools and students, you belong in the PTSA.

If you would like further information on our PTSA and ways you can be involved, please feel free to contact me at We are always looking for more family and community members who share our commitment to improving the education, health and safety of all children.

Welcome to or welcome back to the McMillen High School family. Let’s make it a great year!

Best regards,

Corey Maddux,

McMillen High School PTSA
